GOOSE2007

Born in Ottawa Canada. Grew up in a bilingual household and took my
first years of schooling in French.

In 1969, the year after my mother died, I was transplanted to Seattle
for a year and then on to Vancouver. Since there were no french
schools in Seattle or Vancouver obviously I had to convert to english
   at that time.

In 1971 the family moved to Rutland Vermont where I graduated High
School and spent thirteen wonderful years. It was in High School were
I picked up the nickname Goose. Obviously due to my Canadian roots. My
real name is Paul, but everyone who is close to me calls me Goose
   still.

I did a brief two year stint at Marquette University studying
Journalism and realizing that my ethics and theirs did not follow
similar paths I left University to become a Roads Scholar. This was
accomplished fully in five years with the help of some musician
   friends of mine.

I relocated back to Ottawa in 1984 and have been stuck here since,
having made the career change into aviation in 1995. At the time I was
too far along to begin a career as a pilot, so I became a dispatcher
which includes everything but flying the plane.

I'd have to say I'm one of the few people who can honestly say they
love their jobs. I am definitely not in it for the money, but don't
   tell my boss that.
