         I was born and raised in a small town in upstate NY along the shores of Lake 
   Ontario. I was christened Marlene Anne, but have never liked my first name (please don’t
   tell my Mother). My nickname to friends and family is Marn or Marny, but here at Delphi 
   I go by the name Anne.

         I graduated from high school a long time ago, went to Wilmington General Hospital 
   School of Nursing in Wilmington Delaware for six months and left because I knew it was 
   not for me. I married my husband Tom in 1964 and we are still together. We have three 
   children, two girls ages 37 and 33, and one boy age 28, and two grandchildren, a girl 16
   and a boy 12. I lived in Xenia, Ohio from 1966 to 1974 until the  big tornado came 
   through destroying much of the city. We moved back to our hometown where I went to work 
   at JC Penney as a sales associate for 11 yrs. I then obtained a job with the city school 
   district as a Disabled Student Classroom Aide, which I retired from this past June. My 
   hubby was a machinist for 26 yrs until he was forced into retirement two years ago due 
   to a back injury. 

         I bought my first computer in 1998, so compared to some of you I am a "newbie"
   where computers are concerned. I found TQ Trivia by chance one night and started playing 
   there where I also enjoyed the Word Scramble game.  I love to garden. I also enjoy 
   reading and using my computer. I am keenly interested in making animations and signatures,
   but have not mastered these so far.

         Anyone who knows me knows that I am a quiet person, but I do have a good sense of
   humor. My pet peeve is people who lie or tell untruths about other people. If you can’t 
   believewhat a person says, then you can’t believe in the person.

         The above is my computer workspace area. I am essentially very neat, as you can 
   see. This fact sometimes annoys my hubby and other family members-lol
