INTRODUCTION

	This could be considered an addendum to my KÜHL/KUHL/KUEHL: THREE 
HUNDRED YEARS (Mar 1990).  It is not impossible that it may be added to that work's 
section on allied families.

	That work should be consulted for its information on the history of
the Probstei and for its maps.

	The early part of this work is based on the appropriate birth, marriage, 
and death records from the Luthern Archives at Preetz, Federal Republic of Germany.

   In this work I have treated forenames in the same manner as in the Kuhl
