12 Oct 1816; died at Florence(Marion)KS, 7 Apr 1885; married 1) 16 Mar 1841 Jane
Hurd b. NY c1827 d. Minonk(Woodford)IL 22 Aug 1867. Titus had left PA by 1842 when
he resigned the executorship of his father's estate. In 1850 he was working as a
shoemaker in Scio(Allegany)NY, later he was at Americus(Lyon)KS for three years
before going to Polo(Ogle)IL in 1864 and joined the Iliniois infantry in the Civil
War on 20 Feb 1865 at Dixon{Lee)IL and was discharged on 22 Sep 1865. After the
war he lived in Charlevoix(Charlevoix)MI, Russell(White)AR, then Doniphan
(Doniphan)KS where he was in 1880 employed as a boot and shoemaker, then to
Wyanndotte City(Wyanndotte)KS. Although Minot refers to him as "Rev.", there
is no indication in Titus' pension file that this was the case.

1900, and 1910 he was at Wichita(Sedgwick)KS.
