INTRODUCTION

In my investigations of the Kruse family I became interested in the Bebensees since John Bebensee (#4) shared a mother with Doris(Bastam)Kruse, the wife of Fritz Kruse. Since the Bebensee ancestors were from the same general area as the Kruses it was a simple matter to have the church records checked for them. It became a matter of greater interest when it turned out that as well as being related to the Kruses, the Bebensees were also related to the Kays and hence the Kuhls, the family of major interest to me, see chart. As elsewhere individual pictures are indicated by "(*)" following a name. My Kuhl booklet introduction deals with the general geographical area and its history. Although some of the villages of the Bebensee ancestors were in the parish of Schoenkirchen immediately to the west of the Probstei and others farther afield. The maps show the locations of the various villages of importance to the Bebensees. In this work I have treated forenames in the same manner as in the Kuhl booklet, the reader is advised to review that introduction. *** NAME INDEX *** Bebensee GEDCOM zipped rev. 11 Dec 2007
